Cargo MoU between Royal Air Marco and Etihad

    08 Jun 2017

The freight divisions of the flag carriers Etihad Airways (UAE), and Morocco's Royal Air Maroc (RAM) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a cargo cooperation.

David Kerr (left), SVP cargo Etihad, and RAM's cargo director, Amine El Farissi, are planning to collaborate particularly on airfreight routes between the Mediterranean, the Middle East and Africa.

Together, the two airlines will offer flights from Casablanca, Agadir, Marrakech and Tangier. Via its hub airport Casablanca, RAM Cargo currently transports freight from Abu Dhabi to the Americas, Europe and Africa on a daily basis.

Two years ago, RAM established another Gulf carrier cooperation when it teamed up with Qatar Airways in a strategic joint business partnership.
