Rabat - The Moroccan Multilist group has launched the first real estate search engine in Morocco, named multilist.immo.
The company took to LinkedIn to announce the official launch of its platform on February 9.
“Our real estate search engine helps you find the perfect choice that meets your needs. Whether you are a professional or an individual, our tool guarantees you precise, simple, and ergonomic visibility and research,” they wrote on Linkedln.
Developed by Moroccan experts, multilist.immo “brings a complete and diversified offer within the framework of a global connection between the suppliers and the applicants of real estate,” said the group’s co-founders Nabil Sallami and Sara El Kadiri.
To address the different needs in the market, multilist.immo offers five sites, Primelist for new real estate, Homelist for second-hand real estate, Officelist for workspaces, Landlist for land estate, and Booklist for seasonal rental.
The company plans to expand its workforce from 60 to 90 employees by the end of March 2022.
As a platform that facilitates the search for real estate, multilist.immo responds to different demands in the sector, making it stand out.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the real estate sector. Morocco’s central bank, Bank Al-Maghrib, has reported a deterioration in real estate prices in the third quarter of 2021 due to the decrease in real estate transactions.
According to the bank’s report, the national Real Estate Price Index (PEPI) dropped by 5.5% in 2021 compared to Q3 of 2020 but modestly grew by 0.2% from Q2 2021.
With international financial organizations such UNESCWA and World Bank expecting a gradual rebound of the Moroccan economy in 2022 and 2023, the real estate sector appears set to grow and provide more opportunities to platforms such as multilist.immo.
