Rabat- The Al Mokhtar Jazoulit School in Rabat won the title of “Outstanding School” out of 92,000 Arab schools during the sixth edition of the Arab Reading Challenge in Dubai.
The Moroccan school will receive a prize of 1 million Emirati dirhams ($ 272,000), allowing it to devote more resources to building a culture of reading and academic and cognitive success.
UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum shared on his twitter account, “As part of the reading challenge, from 92,000 schools that participated, Al Mokhtar Jazoulit School from the Kingdom of Morocco won as the best school that supports reading and consolidates it in our generations.”
“Congratulations to Morocco for this cultural movement, as one million Moroccan students participated in the challenge,” the tweet read.

In July, Mokhtar Jazoulit school won the title of Most Distinguished School in the sixth edition of Morocco’s Arab Reading Challenge.
The Arab Reading Challenge is the biggest reading competition in the Arab world. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched the Arab Reading Challenge in September 2015.
